Description
I have always found patchouli to be an acquired scent. Some love it and others stay as far away as possible. Though experimentation I have found that vanilla essential oil helps balance the scent of patchouli. Vanilla helps elevate the floral notes while suppressing some of the more earthy tones that many find unappealing in patchouli. Patchouli may have its faults but with so many uses from insect repellant to snake bites it is one that I can’t seem let go of.
